“Hello”, He Lied

Lunchtime Comedy For
Birr Vintage Week & Arts Festival

Birr Stage Guild presents its third season of lunchtime comedy at Birr Theatre & Arts Centre from Tuesday 18th – Friday 21st August inclusive at 1.05pm sharp.

Best Selling author Campbell Black, together with Rebecca Armstrong, have come up with another gem for your lunchtime entertainment.

What happens when a Hollywood Mogul (H.M. Gepetto) and his casting director (M.R. Bluefairy) face bankruptcy, unless they come up with a new cheap young star, for this summers blockbuster?

The search is on!  A young Italian pizza parlour waiter catches their eye – especially Bluefairy’s eye and the race is on.  Will this kid turn out to be the next Leonardo Di Caprio or will it all prove a terrible mistake.

A look at the darkly comic side of staying ahead of the game, a tale for our times……
