Rehearsals are hotting up for Birr Stage Guilds Annual Play, which
is running at Birr Theatre & Arts Centre from Wednesday 10th –
Saturday 12th November inclusive at 8.00pm sharp.
Ten people find themselves stranded in the lonely house on Indian
Island when their supposed hosts send word that they have been
detained. A mysterious voice, afterwards discovered to have come
from a gramaphone record, indicts each of them – the eight guests
and two servants – of murder. It transpires that no-one has met
their hosts and that they have evidently been decoyed to the island.
First one and then another dies: each death according to the rhyme
of “Ten Little Indians”, and with each death one of the little china
figurines on the mantelpiece is found broken. The tension grows as
they realize that the killer is, in fact, one of themselves.
Under the direction of Mr. Adrian Shine, this mystery thriller is
guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat as the body count
grows. A highly entertaining and amusing play full of colourful,
eccentric and sinister characters.
Running at Birr Theatre & Arts Centre from Wednesday 10th – Saturday
12th November inclusive at 8.00pm sharp.
